How long have you worked for True Mechanical Corp and what do you do?
I have worked as the Business Development Manager for True Mechanical Corp for seven years. I am the representative who meets with customers on their HVAC options before the project manager and installer teams are sent in. Along with sales, I also handle marketing and social media posts for the company.
Tell us about True Mechanical Corp
True Mechanical is a family owned large mechanical contracting firm in the center of Long Island. We provide HVAC comfort solutions for homeowners, builders and architects. We handle projects from the single-family residence to large multi-family and custom mansions. 
How involved are you with the Pro Partner program?
True Mechanical Corp won the prestigious 2017 Rheem Top 20 Pro Partner award. It was an honor to receive this award because it gives our company another layer of credibility. As far as the Pro Partner program, we are involved in the rebate programs, conferences, meetings and our employees also take advantage of the online Rheem Academy for extra training.
What do you like best about being a Pro Partner? How does it help your business grow?
We appreciate the sales and service support we get from Rheem and our distributor (MCN Distributors). Being a Pro Partner really separates us from the rest of the pack. I truly believe we get more customers being a Pro Partner and the credibility of the Rheem brand.
Tells us about your Social Media efforts? Any advice to companies not using social media to promote their business?
I feel every company should be taking advantage of social media opportunities. It has become an important part of today’s business culture and, by the way, it doesn’t cost the company a dime to create content, share and get reviews from customers. 

I post weekly content on our company website blog, LinkedIn and Facebook. I focus on industry specific topics to give homeowners a reason to upgrade their HVAC system. For instance, right now, I’m focusing on indoor air quality because of the current allergy season.

To connect with customers, I ask for their email addresses to find them on social media. Connecting with customers in advance of the sales appointment also increases the chances of seeing if we have interests or common connections (which helps during sales efforts). Social media gives us an edge and instant credibility with customers. It’s all about making True Mechanical Corp a recognizable name and social media absolutely helps with that.
